Peaceful Buddha (2022) by RISK combines neon, acrylic, aerosol, Kandy car paint, crushed abalone, and surfboard resin on a spray-can, license-plate, and road-sign panel. The work measures 48 × 48 × 5 inches and is signed on the front.
A seated Buddha glows red within a turquoise neon border. Butterfly imagery and fragments of street signage surround the figure, bringing a still central pose into a layered urban setting. The contrasting light draws attention to both the central silhouette and the assembled details around it.
