Before the installation
The photographs begin with the sculpture in separate sections. The torso, helmet, arms and lower body can be seen on supports before their assembly at the gallery.
The work arrives at Art R us
Sections of the sculpture and its gold-colored base are photographed outside the gallery, ready for assembly.
Taking its place
The installation sequence records the lower body being positioned on the base, followed by the torso and helmet. These views show the relationship between the sculpture, the crew and the gallery building.
Day into evening
The completed sculpture stands in front of the gallery’s colorful Art R us signage. Daylight reveals the blue surface, white inscriptions and gold-colored visor; evening lighting gives the work a different presence against the building.
