Adrian Abarca, known as DosX, is a Miami-based contemporary mixed-media artist and U.S. Army combat veteran whose work explores memory, perception, identity, trauma, and personal transformation. He served as an Airborne Infantryman with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and was among the 996 paratroopers who entered Bashur, Iraq, during Operation Northern Delay in 2003.

DosX works with acrylic, ink, pastel, oil, and aerosol across concrete, wood, canvas, and paper. Defaced surfaces, distorted figures, and urgent mark-making give his compositions a raw physicality. Humor and confrontation sit alongside pain and survival, allowing the work to question how lived experience alters the way reality is remembered and understood.

Collectors value DosX for the honesty of his narrative, the intensity of his street-influenced visual language, and the discipline behind his material experimentation. Art R us offers select original works for collectors seeking contemporary art grounded in military experience, psychological depth, and an unmistakably personal point of view.
