Romain Lefebvre, known professionally as Punk Me Tender, is a French-born contemporary artist whose work brings together street art, fashion, photography, vivid color, and dimensional mixed media. Born in Paris and later based in Los Angeles and Miami, he developed his early practice through graffiti, large-scale visual experimentation, and more than a decade working with Thierry Guetta, known as Mr. Brainwash.
In 2016, Lefebvre established Punk Me Tender as an independent artistic identity influenced by Daft Punk and Elvis Presley. Butterflies became a defining motif, representing freedom, beauty, transformation, rebirth, and the spirit.
Across paintings, sculptures, murals, and mixed-media compositions, he combines spray paint, original photography, Swarovski crystals, diamond dust, glossy acrylic finishes, and three-dimensional elements.
